I love waffles and I love The Grand Floridian. So clearly, breakfast at The Grand Floridian Cafe was going to be a win no matter what. I don’t know how we spent so long without having breakfast here, but recently, the stars aligned, and we had a leisurely, (and by leisurely I mean three hour) breakfast at this airly, cute cafe.
One of the best things about The Grand Floridian Cafe is that you can literally ALWAYS get a table. For some strange reason, no matter how many people talk about how good it is, this idyllic, low priced spot seems to have a shortage of fans. This is good news for people like you and me, as we don’t have to fight over things like reservations – we can pop in whenever for a plate of steak and eggs and Mickey shaped waffles.
The food is good anytime of day, but we love brunch, when they serve both their breakfast and lunch menu at the same time. Grab a plate of whichever food strikes your fancy, and a french press, and enjoy the atmosphere. And with The Magic Kingdom just a boat ride away, this is prime breakfast real estate.
