Have you ever seen ‘Sweet Home Alabama’? While this early 2000s romcom is questionable at best (let’s be honest, she should have ended up with Patrick Dempsey), it still has some iconic moments. Basically, I thought taking a toddler to the Wine Country would just be a reenactment of that one scene – ‘you have a baby – in a BAR’. I was really pleasantly surprised to find that so many places ARE kid friendly in Napa, even some really great wineries.
Toddler friendly vineyards:
Frog’s Leap Vineyard
Our daughter had a great time wondering the grounds at Frog’s Leap. This, in my opinion, is the most beautiful and homey vineyard in Napa, with some of the best wine at the most reasonable prices.
V. Sattui Winery
You can take a picnic here too – or buy a picnic at their incredible speciality food shop!
Inglenook
Not only is Inglenook kid friendly, they have Parisian style wooden sailboats that you can borrow for kids to play with in their pond!
Hall
Hall is one of the few places that you can grab wine by the glass, and wander the grounds. This worked out perfectly because it was more affordable than a seated tasting, and they have great grounds for kids to play.
Toddler friendly restaurants:
Bouchon Bakery
Gott’s Roadside
Lou’s Lunchette
Toddler friendly activities:
Exploring Oxbow Market
Shopping in Downtown Napa
Walking by the Napa River
Seeing the iconic ‘welcome to Napa’ sign
