Taking Care of Extensions During Summer

If I could only be allowed one beauty product for the rest of my life, it would be my extensions from Cinderella Hair Extensions. I started getting extensions about five years ago, and have used all kinds of brands. After finding Cinderella Hair Extensions a few years ago, I knew I would be a lifelong fan. I get a lot of questions about how to take care of them in the summer, so I wanted to share the best tips that I’ve found, for keeping them looking great, whether you’re at the beach or the pool.

-Rinse your hair before getting in the pool

Just like your real hair, if you get your extensions wet with clean water before getting in the pool, they’re soak up way less chlorine and chemicals!

-Keep it braided

When extensions get tangled, it’s easy to tug on them too hard when trying to brush them. If you’re anything like me, your hair gets way more tangled when swimming than any other activity. I wear my hair in a brand whenever I’m going in the ocean or pool, to cut down on tangles and tugging.

-Dry as quickly as you can

If I’m at the pool, I try to always dry my roots with a blow dryer, and then let the ends air-dry.

I’ve found that extensions are way less maintaince than most people think, especially if you’re using a brand like Cinderella Hair Extensions that are made to not damage your hair.
