Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk Inn Review

With the exception of New Girl marathons, and take out, I’m not sure if there’s much I love in life as much as Disney Deluxe Resorts. They’re perfectly themed, and give you the chance to experience things you normally wouldn’t get to do – want to stay in a resort themed after an African safari? You can do that. Want to stay at a National Park themed lodge? You can do that! Today, we’re talking about one of our favorite Disney Resorts – Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.

The Boardwalk Inn is located within walking distance of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (so it’s essentially a real estate goldmine). The resort has a turn of the century Boardwalk theme (hence the name), and is one of Disney’s most charming hotels. All of the rooms are really nice, but not as nice as the recently refurbished rooms on the DVC side of the resort.

One of the best part of staying at The Boardwalk though, is the entertainment and dining that’s so close. The Boardwalk dining area is steps away from places like Jellyrolls (a dueling piano bar), The Flying Fish (a great spot for a fancy date night), and Ample Hills (the best ice cream on property).

The pool area at The Boardwalk is one of our favorite – it has a carousel theme, and a clown slide. We ignore the clown slide, and instead hang out at the pool bar, which has great drinks.

All in all, we can’t recommend The Boardwalk enough. It’s one of our favorite resorts, and by far one of the most relaxing Deluxe resorts, especially if you’re visiting during an Epcot festival, when it’s great to be within walking distance of the parks.
