We just got done spending a long weekend at Walt Disney World for Labor Day Weekend. We spent our time at The Hilton Bonnet Creek, which thus far, has been one of our favorite places ‘off-property’ to stay. (Full disclosure, we were there at their invitation). Even though The Hilton Bonnet is technically on WDW property, when most people refer to staying ‘on property’, they mean at a Walt Disney World resort. With the Hilton Bonnet Creek, you get the best of both worlds – you get to enjoy the convenience of being close to the parks, while being able to enjoy a resort with more space, and generally lower rates than Disney hotels.
The Hilton Bonnet Creek is a beautiful resort, ideally suited for either families or couples. The resort features a sprawling pool, with a lazy river equipped with floats, and plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. There’s also Cabanas available for rent. It’s the ideal set up for coming back from the parks in the afternoons when it gets hot, and having some pool time before going back.
We got to try several of The Hilton Bonnet Creek’s dining options while we were there, including their breakfast buffet at Harvest, their poolside restaurant Beech, and their sushi spot, Zeta. We enjoyed all of them, but thought that the breakfast buffet was something special – it had everything from traditional waffles and pancakes, to an omelette bar and smoked salmon spread.
All in all, we can’t say enough good things about The Hilton Bonnet Creek – we definitely recommend it as our go-to choice for where to stay ‘off property’.
