David and I have weekly date nights, and have since we started dating seven years ago. It’s my favorite night of the week, and one of the ways that we keep our relationship as first priority in our lives. We do all kinds of stuff on dates – we’re both adventure buffs, and foodies, so we love to shake up the classic ‘chilis and a movie combo’ with something fun. Today, we’re talking about our favorite date nights to have at Disney World, so you can shake up your date night routine when you’re at the most magical place on earth.
-Dinner and a movie with a twist
Head to one of the resorts that’s showing an Disney outdoor movie. We personally recommend The Animal Kingdom, so you can eat at one of the amazing restaurants they have, like Sanaa, The Mara, or Boma, before watching the movie outside.
-Drinks and the orchestra
Grab drinks at The Mizners Lounge in The Grand Floridian – they have great classic cocktails, and amazing ambiance, with windows overlooking the grounds. After you have drinks, head to the lobby and listen to the orchestra play.
-Dancing and a stroll by the water
Head to either Jellyrolls, or The Atlantic Dance Hall on the Board Walk, and dance the night away. End your evening with a stroll by the water – The Boardwalk is beautiful at night, all lit up and romantic.
-Tiki drinks and fireworks
Go to Trader Sam’s and sit on the outside patio with a couple of Spikey Pineapples. End your evening with a walk down to the beach to watch The Magic Kingdom’s fireworks.
-Head to the Springs
Disney Springs has done such an upgrade in the past few years, that it’s crazy. We almost never went to Downtown Disney, but now we go to Disney Springs every single trip. You can’t go wrong with any restaurant here, and just walking around.
No matter how you spend your Disney date night, you’re gonna have a blast – I mean you’re having a date night in the most magical place on earth. We hope our tips help you have even more fun.
