Our Favorite Disneyland Date Nights Ideas

One of the biggest things that David and I believe in for our marriage is having regular date nights. For us, it’s a weekly occurrence, and probably our favorite night of the week. We have date night even when we go on trips together – for us, it’s mainly just about taking the time and setting it aside, to make sure we’re having time to connect on purpose. For today’s blog, I wanted to combine two of our favorite things – Disneyland, and date night, to share our favorite date nights you can have a the happiest place on earth.

-Dinner at The Napa Rose and resort hopping

One of our favorite restaurants is The Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian, and we don’t seem to be alone in that opinion. The resort has won many awards and accolades, all of which are well deserved. One of our favorite date nights is grabbing dinner here, and then heading to the fireplace in the lobby of the hotel to spend some time chatting.

-Drinks at The Lamplight Lounge and World of Color

The Lamplight Lounge during World of Color is my happy place. The drinks and food are great, and the view of the show can’t be beaten.

-Fireworks on Main Street

Maybe it’s just the sentimental side of me, but I’m not sure that I can think of a more romantic date, save a trip to Paris, than watching Fireworks on Main Street USA.

-Milkshakes at Flos V8

Flos V8 has the feel and fun of an old-timey dinner (with the glow of neon at night to prove it!). We love their Neopolitan shake, and views of Cars Land.

-Brunch at Carnation Cafe

Brunch dates are usually my favorite kind of dates, especially when they include giant Mickey waffles on an adorable patio with the person of your affection.
