One of my favorite parts of running a blog, is having a visual diary to look back on of all the fun times David and I have had together. It’s one of my favorite things to do at the end of the year – to look back, and realize how many amazing memories I have to be grateful for. So that’s what I’m doing today – sharing my favorite travel memories of the past year.
-Exploring Aulani
We’ve wanted to stay at Aulani, Disney’s resort in Hawaii, for the longest time – to say it would be a dream come true is an understatement. We had the best time eating all the Mickey shaped food, and hanging out at the resort.
-Hanging around The North Shore
The North Shore of Oahu is one of my favorite places in the world. From the world class beaches where you’ll normally find turtles and seals hanging out, to the food trucks and local flair – it’s my go-to spot to get away from everything.
-Seeing Toy Story Land for the first time
We always love seeing how Disney is changing and growing, and experiencing Toy Story Land for the first time was no different.
-Visiting our favorite Southern towns
We’ve shared before how much Charleston and Savannah have won us over, so it was great to get to spend more time there this summer.
-Going to Yosemite for David’s first time
I fell in love with Yosemite, and specifically The Evergreen Lodge when I was 16. To get the opportunity to take David there this fall was magical, and will always be some of my favorite memories.
-Tasting around Napa
Napa is the best place to visit for any wine lover. It’s laid back, beautiful, and the perfect getaway.
-Playing in the rain in Big Sur
Our trip to Big Sur was interrupted by a downpour. Instead of letting the rain drive us indoors, we splashed in puddles, and had the best time getting soaked.
-Spending Thanksgiving at Disneyland
Disneyland is already a magical place, but it’s even better when it’s decorated for Christmas. We had the best time over Thanksgiving weekend, eating good food, and enjoying the decor.
-Living our best lives in NYC during the holidays
GUYS – there is no place like New York during the holidays. It’s everything you dream it will be, and more.
