Disney California Adventure is one of our favorite theme parks in the world. Maybe we’re just suckers for an underdog story (the park didn’t exactly have a stellar start), or maybe it’s just the unmatched atmosphere of Cars Land that keeps us coming back. Today, we’re sharing our favorite foods in the park – because, let’s be honest, food is the reason we all keep going back to Disney.
-Lobster Nachos at Lamplight Lounge
Lobster Nachos were a Cove Bar classic, and we were thrilled to see that they were on the menu when the space became The Lamplight Lounge. These are an EASILY sharable item, which makes them perfect for lunch for two.
-The Bacon Mac n Cheese Cone at Cozy Cone
Bread + Mac n Cheese might be the best combination in the world. I’m not sure if there’s anything I love more than empty carbs, and this bread cone of cheesy goodness makes for a great snack or light lunch.
-Chicken Tamale Breakfast at Flos V8 Cafe
In my opinion, this is one of the only interesting, and substantial breakfasts in DCA. It also had an unmatched view if you grab a table outside.
-Seasonal Hand-Dipped Bars at Clarabelles
Whether it’s the fun bars for Mickey’s 90th birthday, Christmas candy-cane bars, or the adorable Minnie witch bars for Halloween, we always love to stop in to try the special bars for the season at Claarabelles. These hand-dipped chocolate and ice cream creations are delicious, and great for fighting warm California days.
-Corn Dogs at Corn Dog Castle
I’m convinced that Disneyland and California Adventure put something in their corn dogs that are akin to crack cocaine. They’re the best corn dogs in the world, and I can’t resist getting one every time I’m in the parks.
-Lemon Soft Serve at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
There’s nothing like a sunny day at Pixar Pier with a lemon-soft serve from Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats. Think of this as the equivalent of a lemon-dole whip.
-Drinks at The Carthay Circle Lounge
The Carthay Circle Lounge is a great place to stop for an afternoon cocktail. Their drinks aren’t watered down, and they have some great classics on the menu, and usually have some fun seasonal specials.
