Our Favorite Beach Destinations

There are very few things I love as much as the beach. But really, get me some flavored sparkling water, a good trashy novel, and just leave me by the beach until I’m fried like a lobster, and exhausted. Today, I wanted to share our favorite warm-weather destinations, for when you need a little R&R.

-The Cinque Terre

While not a traditional sandy beach destination, there are few things I love as much as stretching out on one of the giant boulders near the Mediterranean ocean, with the vivid colors of the villages of the Cinque Terre behind me. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and somewhere I recommend everyone try to go at least once in their life.

-Maui

Maui is one of the rare places that isn’t overhyped at all. It might be the most relaxing place on earth, while still having plenty of adventures, great food, and amazing local culture.

-Seaside, Florida

If we’re headed to a beach that’s Stateside, it’s normally going to be Seaside. We personally think that Seaside has the prettiest watercolor in the continental United States, and we love the laidback lifestyle of this master-planned community.

-Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina

Charleston is one of our favorite cities to go to, especially for a great summer escape. Sullivans Island is a short car ride away, and we normally go there whenever we’re in Charleston.

-Castaway Cay

You can only get to Castaway Cay if you’re taking a Disney Cruise, but really, is that a bad thing? Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island, and it’s a picture-perfect island, where all the food happens to be included in the cost of your cruise.
