Our Favorite Restaurants at Disneyland

If eating was a ride at Disneyland, we would have a FastPass 24/7. I know that sounds a bit like an exageration, and maybe it is, but we love the food at Disneyland. We consider ourselves world champion eaters, and alas, would feel remiss if we didn’t share our favorite restaurants at Disneyland that need to be on your ‘must-eat’ list.

-Carthay Circle

The Carthy Circle is the fancy-pants restaurant of my Disney loving heart. When you walk in, you feel like you’ve been transported to old Hollywood. The art and framed pictures honor Walt Disney, and the ceiling has artist stills from Snow White. It’s so pretty, that the food could taste like Jack In The Box and I wouldn’t complain. Fortunately, the food is as fantastic as the atmosphere. We HIGHLY recommend the biscuits because they’re life changing and we don’t want you to miss out on the experience.

-The Napa Rose

Everytime I go to the Napa Rose, I feel like a Kardashian. That is to say, I feel incredibly fancy and swanky, and like I have way more money than I actually do. The food here is sublime (take that SAT prep courses), and is worth the cost.

-Cafe Orleans

Cafe Orleans is the one restaurant that David and I have to eat at everytime we go to Disneyland. I think I’ve written slightly inappropriate love sonnets about their pommes frittes and beignets. But seriously – get a table on the patio and enjoy the weather and the food.

-The Carnation Cafe

The Carnation Cafe is delicious, but even more important, it has prime Main Street USA real estate. We love to sit on the patio for a late brunch of Mickey waffles while we people watch.

-The Lamplight Lounge

I basically sat Shiva after The Cove Bar closed, but it’s replacement, The Lamplight Lounge, is a worthy substitute with many of the things we loved from before on the menu.
