Best Treats To Beat The Heat at WDW

Heading to Walt Disney World during the peak times of heat and humidity? The good news is you’re going to have a great time. The bad news is, it’s going to be INSANELY hot and humid. Like, walking through a sauna in a parka, hot and humid. Today, we’ve selflessly sacrificed ourselves, and eaten our way through the parks, so that you know what cold treats to get when it’s hot as Satan’s champagne room outside.get my purse here, and a similar dress here (mine is sold out!).

-A Classic Mickey Bar
You can’t go wrong with this classic ice cream bar, shaped like the big cheese himself. We don’t know what kind of sorcery they use to make this treat, but it tastes way better than any normal ice cream bar we’ve ever had.

-Soft Serve
Can you really go wrong with a classic soft serve cone? Our favorite place to grab this classic treat is at the colorful Anandapur Ice Cream Truck in The Animal Kingdom, near Expedition Everest.my shirt is from Walts Wardrobe, and you can get my sunglasses here.

-Dole Whip
THIS IS THE BEST THING IN WALT DISNEY WORLD, if not the world. For starters, it’s dairy free, which people like me, with dairy sensitivities, will love. It’s also tropical AF, cheap, and amazing. You can grab it in The Magic Kingdom, The Animal Kingdom, The Polynesian Village Resort, or Epcot (during festivals).grab my shirt here.grab my hat here, and my romper here.

-A Kids Cone
Want the perfect amount of ice cream with the cutest Mickey ears atop it? Stop on by the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and take your treat to the hub grass.grab my phone case here!

-Cool Pandora
Staying cool in Pandora is easy this summer – they have a plethora (yes, I did VERY well on the English portion of my SATs) of cold treats. With everything from frozen boba drinks, to fruit bars, you won’t have a problem staying cool.

-Frozen France
France, in Epcot, has some of the best treats in Walt Disney World. Stop in the ice cream shop in the back for a cone, or ice cream macaroon, or if you’re feeling boozy, grab one of the frozen drinks from France (you really can’t go wrong with any of them).

-The Sand Pail
Head to Typhoon Lagoon to grab a Sand Pail, which we think is the more appetizing version of the famous Kitchen Sink. This actual Sand Pail is filled with soft serve, hot fudge, whipped cream, and sprinkles.Gelato at Art of Animation

The Gelato at AoA is super cheap and surprising delicious AND you get to put Mickey shaped sprinkles on top of them. It’s a win win win situation.

So embrace the heat this summer, instead of running from it. Grab a cool treat, and enjoy the happiest place on earth, no matter what the temperature is.
