Best Animal Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants

You know what I’ve been eating a lot of lately? Crow. Humble Pie. My own words. Because guys, I was wrong. For years, I declared that The Animal Kingdom was a half day park, and I am here, hat in hand, and every other humility inducing, I was wrong metaphor I can think of, to tell you that I was wrong. You can each expect a Hallmark ‘I’m sorry’ card in the mail soon. WE GET IT – THE ANIMAL KINGDOM IS AWESOME. Especially, with the recent opening of Pandora, and late night hours the park has been running (we’re a sucker for the projections on the Tree of Life!), the park has found its way into our hearts like Tom Hanks in a 90s rom-com. As we spend more and more time in The Animal Kingdom, we do more and more eating there (in the words of Aladdin, gotta eat to live), and have found that this park truly has some of the best quick service of any park. Today, we’re sharing our favorites with you, which we know you’ve been waiting for eagerly. my purse is here, and a similar romper is here.

-Flame Tree BBQ
This is the restaurant that my father dragged us to every trip growing up, and I still love it. I love it even more, now that you can make a meal out of their BBQ CHEESE FRIES. Yes, you heard me correctly. Grab some, and grab a seat by the water.

-Harambe Market
We haven’t had anything bad at Harambe Market, but we have a soft spot for the ribs. What truly sets the market apart, is the attention to detail and theming that you can find throughout.

-Satu’li Canteen
This is Animal Kingdom’s newest quick service restaurant (it’s part of Pandora), and it has cheeseburger pods that we love (they’re shaped like pods guys – how cool is that?!), as well as amazing blueberry cheesecake. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus, unlike a lot of places at Animal Kingdom, it’s inside, which is great for Florida’s heat, and frequent rainstorms.

-Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes
Wanna feed the whole family for the price of a specialty latte? (Yes, I judge the price of everything by how many lattes I could get for the same price) Head to Yak & Yeti in Asia, and fill up on the dirt cheap Chicken Fried Rice. Not only does it come in adorable containers, but it’s delicious, filling and CHEAP.

-Trilo-Bites
BUFFALO CHICKEN CHIPS WITH BLUE CHEESE. Like, I really don’t have to say anything else about these bites from heaven do I?

-Eight Spoon Cafe
This place just has specialty mac n cheese. Aka they’re doing life really well. A stop here, for a meal or a snack, is mandatory while at The Animal Kingdom.

So there you have it, all of our must stops if you want to spend all your time at The Animal Kingdom eating – and really, why wouldn’t you?!
