Romantic Restaurants in NYC for Date Night

New York is one of those places that just makes you feel alive. There’s so much energy, it’s just contagious. The whole city might as well give you the same feeling as being shocked by the energizer bunny. It’s just electric. It’s one of our favorite vacation destinations, and since we just had some of our close friends move there, we’re already planning another return trip. New York doesn’t get the same romance credit that places like Paris or London do, but we think that the city is an incredible destination for couples. Today, we’re sharing some of our favorite restaurants for a romantic date night out.

-The Minetta Tavern
I can’t talk about New York without talking about The Minetta Tavern. This old school classic will make you feel like you’re part of the original rat pack. They’re famous for their black label burger, but I rave about their pasta and souffle.

-Amelie
If you like reasonably priced French food in a setting that feels like an upscale library, Amelie is for you. Get the beef tartare, and goat cheese ball, and share several wine flights.

-The Wren
The Wren is our favorite brunch spot, but with it’s cozy and intimate setting, it’s really perfect for a date night at any time.

-Palma
Palma is the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been inside of, and it has the price tag to match. If you’re wanting to splurge on a special night though, there’s nowhere as romantic as Palma.

-Barachino
I think it’s the best pizza in Brooklyn, and I’m a pizza snob. Also – whoever said pizza isn’t romantic, clearly doesn’t know the way to my heart.

-Cask Bar & Kitchen
You know what’s romantic? A pocket-friendly happy hour with great food in an adorable setting.
