Our Favorite Times of Year to Visit Disneyland

As we enter into month two of COVID19 quarantine, I’ve been dreaming of future Disney trips more than ever. I’ve found that holding onto happy things, and good memories, helps me maintain a positive mindset during this. And is there really a happier thought that days at Disneyland? Today, we’re sharing our favorite times of year to visit Disneyland, for some fun future trip planning.

-Christmas

There is truly nothing like Disneyland at Christmas. The parks are elaborately decorated to the nines, and the whole place feels like you’ve stepped on the set of a Hallmark Christmas Movie. The parades, decor, ride overlays, special shows, and food are all top-notch, and if we could only recommend one time of year to go, it would be Christmas.

-Halloween

Halloween is a closer runner up to Christmas for us. The decor and the food are super fun, and both parks feel like a spooky wonderland that’s more fun than frightful.

-Valentine’s Day

David and I are big fans of doing fun activities for Valentine’s Day, instead of just going to dinner and a movie. I’ll always find fireworks more romantic than a candlelight dinner. Valentine’s Day has gotten a fun glow-up at Disneyland the past few years, with new decor and food options.

-The month of March

Disney California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival kicks off, but more importantly, the weather is PERFECT. Disneyland starts to bloom with its iconic pink flower buds, and the whole park looks like a postcard.
