Our Favorite Things: What’s In My Make Up Bag

Ever wanted to buy exactly what was in my makeup bag? Yeah I didn’t think so, BUT I thought that I would share anyway, BECAUSE IT’S MY BLOG.

I have really sensitive, temperamental skin, and I don’t fancy the idea of looking prematurely 130, so I try to use a lot of Clinique products. I really like them, because they’re super gentle on my skin, and actually good for it. I’m bad at remembering to wear sunscreen, and while I’m not opposed to the idea of botox, I would rather use my money for something else at the time – so having a foundation with built in sunscreen, and a good skincare regimen helps me.

-Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
My skin alternates between hella dry and super oily – this is the only moisturizer that works for me, without costing an arm and a leg. You only need a little, and it lasts forever.

-Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyeliner Pen
I love liquid eyeliner. And I love it to be easy to apply. This fits the docket.

-Clinique Superbalanced Makeup
I need a medium coverage, that doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing a youtube tutorial amount of makeup, and has sunscreen. This is the perfect foundation.

-Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette
Need a bronzer and a blush? This is the perfect cheek palette for you – and it stays on forever.

-Clinique Clarifying Lotion Number 2
Guys – this stuff saves my irritable skin. I cannot recommend it enough. Just wash, use this, then moisturize.

-Mac Pro Longwear Concealer
I have crazy undereye circles – like you would think that I never slept, or got punched in the eyes regularly. I need a hella thick undereye concealer to try to look halfway away, or unbruised.

-Mac Eyeshadow Honeylust
I don’t always wear eyeshadow, but when I do, I go for something that will stay put forever, in a super relaxed shade.

-elf cosmetics baked highlighter
This is my favorite highlighter, and it’s dirt cheap.

-MAC Prep Prime Fix
If I need my makeup to stay put all day in Florida’s childlike weather, I spray my face with this miracle from heaven.

-Elf Lip Kiss Balm
I’m not a lipcolor person – I usually use this $3 tinted lipbalm.

So there we have it folks – the whole dog and pony show, the whole shebang, my whole makeup bag. If you stuck with me this long, then I feel truly honored.
