Christmas at Disney Springs

This past week, I got to attend an event at Disney Springs, showing off all the holiday offerings to make the season merry and bright. I love Christmas, and I love Disney Springs, so the combination for me was as natural as The Kardashains and reality television. Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite holiday offerings at Disney Springs, so you can channel your inner Buddy The Elf while on vacation.

Shopping:
The newly re-imagined World of Disney is a must-do. The store looks great, and has something for everyone on your Christmas list. They also have a giant Christmas section, for all your decorating needs (if you’re anything like me, you have a ridiculously large collection of Disney Christmas mugs).

We love Basin for stocking stuffers – their bathbombs, and solid perfumes are a perfect gift. Sephora, Francescas, and Anthropologie always top my Disney Springs shopping destination for the non-Disney fanatics in my life, for finding the perfect gift.

Eating:
Homecoming has two new cocktails for the season, an iced spiked eggnog, and a holiday punch – both are top notch, like all the drinks at Homecoming, and shouldn’t be missed. We also loved the holiday cocktails at Jock Lindseys, and the Christmas poutine at The Daily Poutine. I’ve written sonnets and love letters about my feelings for The Holiday Sandwich at Earl of Sandwich, so it should be at the top of your list as well. 4 Rivers Cantina is offering gingerbread churro balls, and D-Luxe Burger has a holiday turkey burger, and peppermint cookies and cream milkshake.

Entertainment:
The Christmas Tree Trail should be at the top of your list for Holiday entertainment. Disney has filled a winding path with themed Christmas trees, snoap (Florida snow-soap), lights, and decor. It’s a lot of fun, and I love all the expansions and new trees they’ve added this year. You can meet Santa in his chalet on the Christmas Tree Trail as well, if some face to face time with the big guy is high up on your priority list this year.

Check out the different decorations up for the season, including oversized glittery ornaments, garlands, and a giant tree.

After you’ve seen the decor, and the Christmas Tree Trail, make sure to check out the roaming carolers, the Holiday DJ Dance Party, and Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers.
