Hollywood Studios used to be my favorite Disney park during the holidays. Why, you ask? Well, back before the park became a construction zone, Hollywood Studios was home to something called the Osborne Lights, and it was the most magical Christmas offering in the world. Then, like all good things, it came to an end, and at the same time, so did my love for Hollywood Studios at Christmas. But, the time for sitting shiva is over – Hollywood Studios has brought in a whole new slate of Christmas offerings, that might not replace the hole Osborne Lights left in my heart, but at least go a long way in dulling the pain.
Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land is getting in on the festive action, with new decor, characters dressed up, and holiday music playing while you ride the lands two rides.
Jingle Bell Jingle Bam
While this isn’t my favorite show in the world, it’s cute, and I think kids would love it. If nothing else, it adds a lot to your nighttime possibilities in the park, and helps with crowd distribution.
Sunset Seasons Greetings
By far my favorite new Holiday offering, Tower of Terror comes to life with projections, music, and Snoap on Sunset Blvd.
Flurry of Fun
Flurry of Fun is basically all the new Christmas treats at Hollywood Studios (and there’s quite a few). We enjoyed the hot cocoa flight, and Santa Macarons particularly.
