The Best Freebies at WDW

You know when Oprah comes out and starts giving out free stuff like Santa? You get a whale! You get a car! Everybody gets laptops! Well, that’s basically Disney World, with how much free stuff they give away. No, I’m not playing a joke on you, the notoriously expensive Walt Disney World, actually gives out free stuff. We’re making a list today of all the free stuff you can get at Disney – because free, is the best number.

-Buttons

Celebrating anything at all? Grab a button at Guest Relations. We’ve gotten birthday buttons, anniversary buttons, and buttons to say that we’re celebrating the release of the new Gilmore Girls episodes.

-Water

Please, please, please don’t spend money on water bottles, when Disney will give you free cups of water. Quick Service restaurants will all give you cups of water FO’FREE.

-Club Cool

Stop by Club Cool in Epcot for free samples of sodas from around the world. We have friends that swear by the Beverly, but we just swear that it’ll give you a stomachache.

-Fast Passes

We’re so used to Fast Passes being free, that we don’t realize that other parks charge for them (I’m looking at you, Universal Studios). Big ups to you, Disney World.

-Park Maps

It’s a small thing, but how many Park Maps have I taken home as a souvenir?

-Passports

Grab a World Showcase Passport – it’s a fun way to go around the ‘world’, and a fun souvenir to take home.

-Kids Crafts

Stop by any of the Kidcot stations around World Showcase to keep your kid entertained with free crafts, while you enjoy World Showcase.

-First Aid

There’s First Aid centers in all the parks, where you can go for things like antacids, aspirin, and bandages.

-Recipes

Have a favorite dish at a Disney restaurant? Ask for the recipe and they’ll bring it to you!

-Magic Bands

Passholders, and those staying at Disney Resorts get free Magic Bands (which are practically magic!) as they store your tickets and money.

-Pixie Dust

Stop at The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and they’ll sprinkle you with ‘pixie dust’, aka glitter for free. (This isn’t just for kids – super extra adults, like me, can do it too!).

-Movies

Catch an outdoor movie at Disney Resorts, FOR FREE!

-Fireworks

Watch the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks from either the beach at The Polynesian, or The Grand Floridian, FOR FREE – (no park ticket required!).

Nothing feels as good as getting something for free. We hope you enjoy some of our favorite freebies at the most magical place on earth.
