What I Packed for Hawaii

I love Hawaii – that kind of goes without saying. Everyone likes Hawaii. I mean, what’s not to love about beautiful beaches, great mountains, and an incredible local food scene? Plus, the weather basically stays the same all year long, which is fantastic. Today, I’m sharing what I packed for my trip to Hawaii, to hopefully make your packing life a little easier.

-Three Swimsuits

Three swimsuits might seem like overkill, but if you’re doing any hiking, you can count on one getting dirty, and I hate putting on a wet swimsuit in the morning. I love this one, this one, this one, and this one.

-Four Cover Ups

Almost every day when exploring, I wore a swimsuit and a cover up. I chose cover ups that had a little more coverage, so I could wear them into restaurants, as well as beaches and hikes. I love this one, this one, and this one.

-Sunscreen + Light Make Up

WEAR SUNSCREEN. Seriously. Even if you don’t burn normally, you will in Hawaii, where the sun is stronger. I take this sunscreen, this aloe, and a few light make up products for a natural look.

-Summer Dresses

Every night for dinner, I would put on a breezy sun dress, with quick drying material (that way you’ll dry quickly after walks on the beach!). I love this one, this one, and this one.

-A Good Straw Hat

I wore a straw hat every day in Hawaii (I only did my hair once!). These are my two favorites, here, and here.

-Sandals + Tennis Shoes

You need sandals AND tennis shoes for Hawaii, but not much else.
