Walt Disney World’s Cape May Cafe Review

I love characters in costume, and I love food. So I knew that The Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet would be the perfect meal for me. This year, on the 4th of July, we went with some of our good friends to celebrate America with gluttony, but eating ourselves into a food coma.(shop my sunglasses here and my bag here. my dress is sold out but similar is here and here. )

Cape May Cafe is at The Beach Club (Disney’s best smelling resort), and is an all you can eat buffet. Breakfast features Minnie, Goofy, and Donald, dressed in their best beach clothes (and looking fresh to death, might I add).(shop the adorable Minnie Mouse Kate Spade bag here!)(Jenny made her top, because she’s INCREDIBLE, but it was inspired by this one) (read all about how Jenny made her top on her awesome blog here)

We went into breakfast not knowing what to expect, since Cape May isn’t heralded as a cult favorite, but we were blown away. Cape May had everything from pastries, to multiple egg dishes, to a smoked salmon station, to a Mickey Waffle station with a variety of toppings. Everything we had was great, and the character interaction was really good too.(my footbed sandals are from Target – get them here.)Breakfast was pricey, but we got an AP discount, and we were full from breakfast until dinner, which made it a much better deal. We highly recommend this meal as part of your itinerary, especially if you’re visiting during the summer months.
