Our Top Travel Memories of 2017

I love looking back on a year – I think it’s because I love feeling like I’ve spent my time well. I’ve always said, that if I reach the end of my life, and have a life rich in memories, I’ll feel accomplished. One of my favorite things, is that every year that passes, David and I look at each other, and honestly say that we enjoy that year, more than the last. This year has been fantastic, and I thought I would share some of my favorite memories.

-NYE at Epcot

We rang in New Years Eve at Epcot, dancing the night away in the different countries, and it was magical.

-Relaxing in Seaside

Seaside has always been one of our favorite places, especially when we get to have a few days that we aren’t working, and can just relax. This Florida town is charming, and full of craftsman style beach homes that look idyllic.

-Two days on Castaway Cay

Is there any better way to spend your anniversary, than two days on Disney’s private island? It was perfect, and beautiful.

-Charleston for the summer

The south knows how to do summer. From late afternoon rain storms, to iced lavender lattes on front porch, to long walks under dripping spanish moss trees. We adore Charleston – from it’s rainbow colored homes, and it’s beautiful seashores, and great selection of seafood. It’s our favorite summer stop.

-A magical girls trip

I got to spend an incredible weekend with two of my favorite girlfriends, exploring Food and Wine Festival, and dressing up for Mickey’s Not So Scary Party.

-A European Christmas

I’ve dreamed of going to Europe’s Christmas markets my whole life. David and I made that dream a reality this November, and had the most incredible time.

I love looking back on a year (almost as much as I love planning a new year!).
