New for 2018 Festival of The Arts

You guys know me – you know that there’s nothing I enjoy as much as takeout, Gilmore Girls, and Epcot Festivals. This is why I was so excited last year, when Disney announced the new Festival of the Arts at Epcot, which celebrated food, art, and entertainment. I was fortunate enough to visit opening week of the festival last year, and thought that the festival was enjoyable, if not fully fleshed out. I’m excited to see what Disney does with it, this coming year, as they’ve had more time to think through the concept. This year the festival will stay open seven days a week.

Dates:

This year, the festival is running from January 12th-February 19th. This is a great set of dates, because if you were taking a longer trip, you could ideally hit up both the tail-end of Disney Christmas, and the festival, or go to the last part of the Festival, and stay until Flower and Garden starts.

Entertainment:

-This years festival will include all kinds of seminars, from everything artistic from Mosaics, to pancake art.

-The festival will include art exhibits, art photo ops, and Disney On Broadway performances happening every weekend.

Food:

-Deconstructed Eats is a new food booth this year, that will feature hearty but artful food, that emphasizes food design.

-returning booths will feature new items, as the festival takes more of an emphasis on food.

We’re so excited to see this new festival return, and evolve, and become something even better this year.
