Must Try Items at Food and Wine Festival 2017

It’s officially the best time of year – it’s food and wine time. I love Epcot at all times, especially during a festival. And is there anything better than food and wine festival? A whole three months, dedicated to nothing but eating and drinking? It’s pretty much my olympics. Today, we’re talking about our favorite festival picks from this year, so you can eat and drink your way through the festival with confidence.

-Loaded Mac n Cheese at Active Eats

The only thing I love more than Mac n Cheese, is Mac n Cheese with fancy things in it – give me bacon with my cheese, and I’m basically crying.

-Filet Mignon at Canada

Can’t swing a reservation (or the cost) of a full size filet at Le Cellier? Then grab the bite sized version from Canada.

-Baked Scampi Dip at Coastal Eats

This was a huge festival surprise for me. This dip comes with baguette pieces, and is buttery, garlicy, shrimp heaven.

-Zesty Cheeseburger Handwhich at Craft Beers

This ‘handwhich’, is a lot like the cozy cone sandwiches in DCA, and is stuffed essentially with hamburger macaroni. It’s delicious, and a great deal!

-Passion Martini Slush in France

I’ve written poems, and built shrines to this incredible drink. It’s the perfect drink for a hot day (which it normally is during food and wine), and not too sweet.

-Kalua Pork Sliders in Hawaii

These have been a festival favorite for years – but how could pulled pork on a hawaiian roll not be a cult classic?

-Lobster Roll in Hops&Barley

I’m a sucker for a good lobster roll, and this one is great. Plus, it’s one of the only festival finds we had that wasn’t hot, which was great on a warm day.

-Frozen Mojito in The Caribbean

I love a good mojito, and having a frozen one was even better, when walking around in 100 degree heat.

We know that you’re going to love Food and Wine Festival, no matter what you try – but we think you’re gonna enjoy it even more if you try these items.
