We have so many friends in Florida – our work is there, and it’s like our second home. As we’ve watched Hurricane Irma come closer to Florida, we’ve been worried, and keeping our favorite place in our prayers. We’re putting up a last minute blog, to let everyone know about the closures happening at Walt Disney World, as they prepare for the storm.
-Walt Disney World Parks will close early Saturday September 9th, and stay closed until Tuesday September 12th.
-Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds will be relocating all guests by 2pm Saturday.
-Night of Joy for September 9th has been cancelled.
-Mickey’s Not So Scary Party for September 10th has been cancelled.
-The Spirit of Aloha dinner show for Saturday the 9th has been cancelled.
-Disney has waived cancellation fees for the next week, including those for Advanced Dining Reservations.
-Disney Springs will close at 9 pm on Saturday the 9th.
We encourage everyone who will be on Disney property during the storm to stay safe. We are praying for you guys, and our hearts are with you.
