Hollywood Studios Mama Melrose Review

I love Italian food. There’s this little Italian restaurant that David and I love. I’ve been going there since I was 15, we had our rehearsal dinner there, and we go there for every big event. It’s the kind of cozy place that makes you feel like you’re family with the staff, and oozes romance. Well, my favorite Italian restaurant isn’t at Walt Disney World – but they do have a cozy, romantic, economical spot, that checks all the same boxes.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is kind of a food wasteland (especially in the quick service department!). It does have a few gems, though, (looking at’chu Brown Derby), and today, we’re talking about one of those. Tucked away, in backstreets of the parks, is Mama Melrose – an unassuming Italian restaurant, that’s low on cost (by Disney standards), and high on charm. The food is simple, straightforward, and delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of their pastas or pizzas, and the calamari is a win for the table too. Their steak is one of our favorites on property as well.

This restaurant is a ‘win’, and definitely a must try after you check off some of the ‘big-ticket’ restaurants
