Five Essential Disney Cocktails

Is there anything better than a perfectly crafted cocktail? I mean, as a former bartender, I might be biased, but enjoying a good drink at my favorite place might be my definition of heaven. Today, we’re talking about our favorite drinks at WDW – note, this is just a few of those favorite drinks, and it was a sophies choice trying to make this list.

-Lapu Lapu
I don’t think anything makes you feel like you’re on vacation more than drinking out of a pineapple. Head to The Polynesian Resort and grab this drink, filled with fruit juices and light and dark rum, at The Tambu Lounge.

-Avocado Margarita
Confession: I don’t like tequila. So it takes a very special margerita to turn my head. This creamy, delicious avocado margerita at La Cava Del Tequila is special, and worth getting again and again.

-Sugar Cane Mojito
If you’re at The Animal Kingdom, this drink is a must have. I adore mojitos, and hate when they’re syrupy and poorly made. This mojito is great though, and comes with a sugar cane stir stick. It’s perfect for walking around with on a hot day.

-La Vie en Rose
This drink is only available during Flower and Garden Festival, which I find heartbreaking, because it’s my favorite drink in the world. It’s basically a frozen cosmo, using white cranberry juice instead of red cranberry juice.

-Spiky Pineapple
This drink literally combines two of the best things in the world, Dole Whip and rum, into a delicious frozen drink. Head to Trader Sam’s Patio (you can only get it on the patio!), and order one of these while enjoying views of Bay Lake.

There are so many great drinks to try at Disney World, but these are some of our favorites, and we think you’ll enjoy them too.
