Disney’s Grand Floridian Club Level

You know what I love? All-Inclusive Resorts. I love feeling like everything is free (even though I technically paid for it). If Disney had an all inclusive option, I would pay for it in a second. I think that all inclusive is great, because you don’t have to worry about money while on your trip. For years, I thought that the closest thing to going all inclusive at a Disney Resort, was to buy the Disney Dining Plan (which we love, and recommend to first time visitors). But then, the heavens opened up, and something magical happened this past week. We stayed Club Level for the first time.

All of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts have a Club Level option. While all Disney Resorts have a concierge, the Club Levels have a more tailored, specific concierge, that go above and beyond to make your trip magical. They can’t move mountains, but they sure as heck try.

Club Level also includes food and alcohol. It’s not billed as including all your food, but we were able to make a meal out of each of their options. There’s also beer and wine available all day – they don’t bring out the bar until dinner, but if you ask for something earlier in the day, they’ll get it for you. Concierge realized that our party had a weakness for mimosas (but like who doesn’t?), and brought us our own bottle of champagne our last morning without being asked.

Club Level gives you a list of dining options during the day, which is below:

6:30-7:00 a.m.—Coffee and juices

7:00-10:30 a.m.—Continental breakfast with juice, coffee, tea, cereals, fruit, breakfast pastries and breads

11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.—Iced tea, soda, lemonade, coffee, and snack foods such as crackers, pretzels, cookies and nuts

5:00-7:00 p.m.—Appetizers with wine and beer including hot and cold appetizers from the resort’s restaurants

8:00-10:00 p.m.—Cordials and a selection of desserts from the resort’s restaurants

If you look at the schedule, you’ll realize that there’s food and drink offered every moment of the day. That’s pretty much my idea of heaven. The breakfast included protein items (when we were there, there was quiche, deviled eggs, and Mickey waffles one morning). The snack time also included a tea, which had hot scones. Dinner might be billed as appetizers, but it was a ton of variety, and plenty of food.

Club Level spoiled us, and if you’re already going to be staying at a Deluxe Resort, you should consider it. It might be possible, for larger families, to actually save money with all the food and drinks offered. These savings go up, if you have a family where everyone is over 21.

We loved our experience at Club Level, and don’t know how to go back to normal Disney experiences.
