We are ALMOST done with our home renovation project – we just need to hang some string lights in the backyard, and we will be officially done. It’s taken the better part of a year, and we’ve done all the work ourselves (with some help from David’s dad), but we’re in love with the results. When we were looking for a house, we knew that we wanted something small (I don’t like a ton of space, and didn’t want to have to keep a big space clean). We wanted to create an open floor plan, because we have people over all the time, and love to throw parties. We wanted to create an outdoor space that could double as an entertaining space, where we could show outdoor movies as well. Now that renovations are over, we love how it’s turned out, and wanted to show you some of the before and after of the space.
