Resorts:

We think the Polynesian Village Resort, especially after the recent renovation is not only beautiful, but very romantic. We love the atmospheric lobby, with the hanging lanterns, and beach for sunset walks with views of Cinderella’s Castle. Pop in for a drink at Trader Sam’s, or enjoy one of the resorts great restaurants. For a tropical resort at a lower price point, we love the also recently renovated Caribbean Beach Resort. The new rooms here are tropical without being kitsch, modern, and beautiful. This resort also has lakeside beaches with hammocks for lounging, in the late afternoon Florida sun.

Amphicars:

Looking for an unusual romantic experience? Head to the newly christened Disney Springs, for a ride in an amphicar. These old fashioned looking cars are ACTUALLY boats that will take you for a scenic ride around Disney Springs. How cool is that?! They’re a little on the pricey side, but it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Fireworks Cruises:

Did you know you can book a private cruise to watch Illuminations or Wishes from? These cruises are PRICEY but are a great place to propose, or an amazing anniversary surprise. They can be reserved 90 days in advance.

Carriage Rides:

You can book a romantic carriage ride for you and your significant other at either Port Orleans Resort, or Fort Wilderness Resort. We think this carriage ride is the best at Christmas at Fort Wilderness, when people put out all their Christmas lights.

Explore The World:

Can’t afford a trip around the world? What about a trip around World Showcase? Something that’s a great couple activity is eating and drinking (in moderation) around World Showcase. Enjoy margaritas together in Mexico, or macaroons in France. One of our favorite romantic Disney activities is to wait to until the park closes, and just take a leisurely stroll through the park. It’s a beautiful place to be enjoyed with someone you love.

Enjoy The Magic:

Just because you aren’t a kid, doesn’t mean you can’t be swept away in the magic of The Magic Kingdom. We think that The Magic Kingdom is the most romantic of all the parks . It’s stunning park, surreal in its beauty, We think the most romantic thing to do at Walt Disney World is just to stay at The Magic Kingdom until closing time, and then wander around, enjoying all the lights of Main Street U.S..A.
